This is my first posting and first review on this site. Which I might add, is almost definitely my new go to cigar site. This seems to be what I have been looking for. Forget the rest of the groups and sites. Everyone is here. Cool.
One of the best cigars I've smoked is a Tatuaje Regios, 5 x 50. This Gurkha reminded me of that stick. Creamy, spicy, and consistent the whole way through. The Tatuaje was definitely stronger, but the Gurkha was otherwise just as good. These are the kinds of cigars you just don't want to end, or you wish you had a full box aging at home. Although, it's hard to age cigars this good.
I should also add that the cigar bar owner, of whom I purchased this stick from, told me his box of Master Select Presidentes had been in his walk-in humidor for almost 3 years. I don't have a real reason to doubt that, but that would mean this review is slightly off. A first generation MS Presidente might not be nearly as good.
On my own 1-10 scale, I would give this stick a 9.5. I only wished it were a little stronger, but not all sticks are meant for strength, right?
Peace and love.
