Hey Guys...Been smoking for awhile, but have never tried any of the Gurkha cigar line. They seem to be priced a little high (could be my sources), but I have heard some good things from this brand.
Which do you think are the best? And which do you think aren't worth the cash?

I get them on CI whenever they're on sale. Normally about $3/stick.

I've had the Grand Master Perfecto #2, Regent Toro, Double Maduro Toro, and Legend "Robusto". I have to say that I liked them all. For me, it took a while for the Regent to open up, but I still really enjoyed it.

I've got two more Gurkha lines that are sitting around (Grand Envoy Toro and Centurian Double-X), but have yet to get to them.

Right now the CI Weekly Special looks like a good deal. You can get them for around $2.50 - $5 a piece with a free humidor.

I love the Gurkha Legend Torpedos but only buy them when I find them on sale.

*edit* I forgot to add I've only had one Regent Robusto and disliked it. I will however give them another try some day.

Regent series and Doble Maduro are in my opinion the best Gurkha smokes. I would try all of them if you haven't as they are all pretty good.

As the reigning Gurkha whore.....my 2 cents.

I posted a list back in September. A few new ones have come out since then and I've updated this to include the new ones I've had.

More or less in order of what I think. YMMV

Gurkha Beast
Gurkha Titan
Gurkha Centurian Double X
Gurkha Aged Cameroon (no longer made)
Gurkha Legend 8 year Anniversario
Gurkha 1940's Double Corona
Gurkha Master's Choice Toro Maduro (only at 2Guys)
Gurkha Doble Maduro Toro
K. Hansotia Signature Robusto
Gurkha Connecticut Robusto
Gurkha Genghis Khan
K. Hansotia Gold Collection Edition
K. Hansotia Brazilian Envoy
Gurkha Master's Select Toro
Gurkha Ancient Warrior
Gurkha Regent Toro
Gurkha Grand Envoy

I have a bunch I haven't tried, but the one's I have tried rank in order of:

Centurian XX
Legend
Expedition
Doble Maduro
Master Select
Regent

CI has the best price of anywhere I've seen. If you look on CBid, you can get them for much less than they sell for on CI.

The only ones of the Gurkha line I enjoy are the Ancient Warriors. Although would love to try the Gehgis Khan line.

I have liked most of the gurkhas I have tried except the Expedition.

The Master Select Toro is one of the better ones IMO. Also enjoyed the Boer for a more mellow smoke.

That is exactly my problem with them I can't keep up with Gurkha's line up. Most of that I received was in trades , but I haven't even chipped a tip of that iceberg. Well the important thing that I liked most of the ones I tried.

Wow, they have quite a big line of cigars.
Thanks for all the info on these, I can pretty much narrow it down to the top 4 or 5. Thinking of getting a fiver of each of the following:

Gurkha Beast
Gurkha Titan
Gurkha Centurian Double X
Gurkha Master's Select Toro
Gurkha Ancient Warrior

But only If I can find them! Since I do reside in Canada, its hard to find retailers in the US to ship here (especially in a way to avoid duties/taxes), so I have to rely on the 2 that do, and the retailers here. It can get difficult sometimes. ;)

cant go wrong with a beast, One of them i really enjoy that no one listed was the Triple Ligero

And lets not forget the G3, also a great cigar with a taste all its own.

Gurkha Legend 8 year Anniversario
Gurkha Centurian Double X

Are my favorites, never had the beast or the titan though.
