I started in this hobby 2 years ago, simply as something to do on a nice day. Recently I have boosted to a new level and need to update the humidor status!!! I have three x-large desktops that are maxed out and want to replace them with a nice stand up humidor. Something that would double as a nice piece of furniture as well as hold a few boxes with enough room to hold around 200 loose sticks. The next humidor I buy I want to be one I can use for awhile and grow into, I know alot of the members here know alot about different brands and online dealers. I would like to gather some opinions and learn from the experience other members have had with different hummies.

If have any suggestions or advice on a upgrade please let me know, I would appreciate all the help I could get!!!

Also if you could recommend (spl*) on humidificatoin methods for larger units that would help too.

Again Thank You for the help.

Mark

Sounds like a wine cooler or a coolerdoor would be your best bet.

What do you plan on doing with your humidors you have now? I'm in the market :D

As for humidors, here's some high capacity humi's from the "Devil site:"

haha it's just not right what this place does to you. I was completely content with my little 25ct. humidor 3 weeks ago, it's overflowing now and bursting at the seams. I blame you all!!!

Yeah, same here, and I have a 250 ct., it makes perfect sense now when I posted some pics of my humi, and pretty much EVERYONE told me, "Hey. nice humi.........but it's TOO SMALL."

I have an Aristocrat humidor from Bob Staebell. Here is his website. I've had mine almost a year now, and it's been a great investment; easy to recommend. They still fill up, though..... :p

Mark,
This hobby can definitely get out of hand quickly. It seems like 50-100 cigars is more than enough to have on hand, but it seems that it is too easy to keep buying.

I am not sure what your budget is, but I have a number of stand up humidors that may be what you are looking for.

Cigar Tower
Cigar Tower II
Antique Tower

These units have an outlet in the bottom that can be used for a humidification system. The Hydra and Cigar Oasis do not really work well on these size units. I would recommend the Avallo Accumonitor as the best set and forget unit for his size humidor. Rod has posted a really good review as a sticky in this forum.

You can see these units here

Cigar Solutions

I carry other units that are bigger, or some that are end table sized as well.
If you want more info, you can PM or email me.

I highly recommend getting an Aristocrat. They have tons of options, come in various shapes and sizes, and Bob will make one that fits in with your décor. Whatever you get, think BIG. They tend to fill up fast.
