...and yes, it is overpriced... on purpose. The net profits go to charity.

It's a nice collectors piece, if you're into that kind of thing (and no, I don't have one), or if you have money to burn or wish to donate to CFCF. If you're just interested in the cigars for smoking, though, it's not worth it.

They are just normal-blend Opus cigars in really nice packaging (even the Lancero and Chili Pepper, while cool unreleased vitolas, are regular Opus blends).
 
This is the same Opus one that Mike's Cigars keeps advertising in the back of their catalog for $750.00
 
They had one at our shop here and sold it at MSRP ($750). It was very cool looking. Not my cup of tea, but cool looking none the less.

Ah, thanks Moki, I had forgotten that the proceeds are for charity, like the TAA packs, $50.00 is "overpriced" for an Opus X and a DC Maximus BUT since it's a charitable contribution, I personally have no problem with that price at all. And now that you mention it, that's tax deductible. :thumbs:

BUT I don't think buying this from some clown on eBay qualifies as a charitable contribution.

Yes, if one were to want this for some sort of collection then price is usually no object but I like to smoke my Opus X :thumbs: so $700+ is too rich for my blood.
