Still a newbie here and to cigar smoking but just wanted to share. Not trying to sound like a tweet or a facebook post. (neither of which I participate) but a good weekend. Started yesterday when I went to the local cigar shoppe and made may first cigar pruchase from him. (purchased my humidor from him a couple of weeks ago). He also helped me out with getting my torch working better. I think I was getting to much air in it when refilling. After purchasing 5 sticks went to the driving range to take a few swings getting ready for Sundays golf outing.

Enjoyed a Perdomo Fresco while hitting a bucket on Saturday and an Autoro Fuento last night. Today started out with an early breakfast with my foursome. We hit the links about 9 and after some OJ and a water decided to pop the top on a brew. Lit up up a Pradron I got in a newbie pass from someone on the board here. Really enjoyed it. Shared a Perdomo with my cart buddy. He liked it. A little later I fired up a consuegra. I really enjoyed it. I am not good enough yet to do any reviews, but what really made me like it was the easy draw during the entire smoke. I burned this thing down to a nub. We played 27 holes and my scores from each 9 went 51, 44, 42. 2 birdies on the day. We did a few long drive wagers and a couple of close to the pin on a couple of holes also. (a wopping $1 wager each time) I actually won 2 of 3 long drives with my antique Ping persimon woods. LOL. But I digress.

After another brew in the parking lot after the round we proceeded to the local Hooters. My first trip to a Hooters since 1996. All I can say is the WINGS are great at HOOTERS. My significant other and 2 of the other guys I played the golf with wives were having a HEN party today. (Brunch with mimosa's). So once their party broke up we all headed home. Once home and as I am trying to type this (as the sun is setting) I am enjoying another cold adult beverage as I lit up an Oliva G. Also aquired from the newbie pass. (Really like the newbie pass as I have another one in the works) Thanks to the FOGS. Enjoying this smoke as well although it has gone out on me a couple of times.

So what have I learned as a new cigar smoker (maybe 10 on my lips now). I think I am going to like this new hobby/addiction. Not sure why but I will be trying to get some more Consuegra's. But still have many more others to try.

Thanks for all the help on this forum.
