Graycliff on Cbid

I'm curious to see how long it will take all the idiots to drive the bid up more than they are worth...
 
For those that recall this topic from a few weeks ago, this would be an ideal time and price to buy the Graycliffs. I'd pay close to $150ish for this and be happy. These are great cigars for under $10.


The price over at CI is $299 for this box (plus a couple freebies right now), whereas true to form cbid has the msrp down at $400. Not an outright lie on their part, but a little misleading. Alas, I digress...
 
You can find these even cheaper (regularly) other than CI. Normally about 10 bucks a stick so if this bid goes up to $250 or more, no one is getting a deal. If it does stay low, and as Gonz said, maybe the 150 range, that's a good deal. I'm thinking about it but the wife is on a short fuse with me right now buying cigars...

But I have to admit, these are some very good smokes, hopefully, the price stays in the $125 -$150 range!!

:laugh: Then you've seen cbiders at work before! ;) Famous is even worse! There are still deals to be had, though. Just not on the more popular items.

As of this posting, this "exclusively for HotDeals subscribers" auction has done four complete rounds of bidding in one day! Bid is up to $125 and will no doubt top $200. Personally, I like the CI Legends Graycliff better at $52/20 on a typical auction. ;)

I forgot to add that when I buy the CI Legends Graycliff, I put them in a cedar cab for aging and throw that gaudy, purple Graycliff box in the trash! :)
 
Not too bad yet! Only up to $134.99 right now with two days left. If this stays below $150ish I'll be getting a box and will have a few fivers left over for anyone who would like to try them.
 
Sometimes I'm amazed that things squeak through without getting bid up to outrageous amounts. :thumbs:


As can be seen on the auction (click on AVB's link), I picked these up for $144.99, which I would consider a really good deal. Like I said earlier, instead of hording these all to myself, if there are three individuals who would like to try these with a fiver let me know. Each fiver would be $33 shipped priority with DC.

Thrilla, I'll take a 5er. I tried to get one from Gonz but was too late. Also, you still want to do the split on the El Cobres?
