Good way to Start

if I were say wanting to spend like $20-30 for me a sampler pack what would everyone suggest I put in it. I am most likely going to my local shop here in Grand Rapids, MI to get this sampler pack going. Of course once my humidor gets all setup this weekend

Starting off in cigars is much like travelling a road that you have never been on. Some folks like the straight aways and some folks like the curves.


I would say pick out a couple light "natural or Colorado" wrapper type smokes. The Pick out a couple dark Maduro ones.

There are many great brands at the stores, and what I did was read the reviews of different smokes before I tried them. It helped me figgure what I may like.

Here is my sampler...Montechristo Vintage '93 Cabinet(any size), Fuente 858 Maduro, La Unica Cameroon Torpedo, Leon Jimenez Corona or Torp, Macanudo, and a Padron 3000. There are a buncha good cigars out there, but I think if you start with these, you'll be satisfied. More importantly, you will have a reference point to which you can ask us here or the guy at the humidor for other suggestions. Just my $.02.

cool I am going to maybe pick up some of those this weekend but I also have to move to my new place
