I have a couple back to back conferences coming up in Phoenix. Can anyone recommend a good shop that I can relax and enjoy a couple smokes? I have heard that Don's Cigars is a good place to go. Anywhere else that would be worth stopping?

Thanks,

Bill

I've only been to Phoenix once, and that was two weeks ago to watch spring training baseball, but I met some local CF guys at a place called Magnums and it was awesome. Huge walk-in humidor, possibly the best liquor selection I've ever seen, and a separate bar area for smoking and drinking. It was first class.

Apparently there aren't many places you can smoke in Phoenix anymore, the local guys said that Magnums is one of only a couple places left where you can.

I think it was past Glendale somewhere, I'm sure you can Google it.

I've gotten some stuff from Hiland's Cigars in Scottsdale. Pretty good prices on the stuff I wanted.

It depends on what part of town you're going to be in. If it's downtown Phoenix, Ye Olde Pipe and Tobacco shop is nice with a Diamond Crown lounge and a huge humidor. Magnum's is very cool too. My local shop is Shades of Havana, on the west side of town.

Currently at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak resort. I am not sure what part of Phoenix that is considered. Next week I will be in Glendale on Tuesday.

Magnums is a must! They have the most extensive liquor selection of any bar I have ever been to. Their humidor is great as well. Worth the little extra drive if need be!
