Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Hump Day already. We've got another busy day and what's good about it is before you know it, it's time to go home. The weather yesterday was quite miserable, temps in the 80s and humidity was wicked. The weather guessers did predict a good 10 to 15 degrees lower tempature today and average humidity for this time of the year:

Good morning brothers. Woke up a little later this morning, 0530 vs my usual 0430. Typical morning PT was followed by me walking in the door met by the chef cooking Irish bacon, grits with toast and cafe going. After a delicious breakfast, had some cafe con leche with a very tasty Fuente Cuban Beli.

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Well, it's another day at the grind and one day closer to Graduation. With that being said and today being Thursday, we'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening enjoying a well deserved cigar or two. Good morning all and TGIF!!!! Since Graduation is tomorrow morning and we have a good 9 hours of OT, I shouldn't be too happy that today is Friday, but I am. We have to be in the Emergency Operation Center at 0500 ready to go hot at 0600. Come tomorrow afternoon around 1400 (2 o'clock), we will all be happy and celibrate with a primo stogie. I hope everyone has a super weekend and enjoys....... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Mornin all, it's roughly 0330 and the coffee is about ready. Got to be at the Emergency Operation Center by 0500 for Graduation prep and I can't wait to see 1400 (2 o'clock) on the clock today. I know that today's cigar after work will taste mighty fine along with a beer or two as well. I wish everyone a great day today and enjoy....... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. The West Point Graduation 08' went well and it didn't rain until the very end of the ceremony which was perfect. Today, there's quite a bit happening with NASCAR racing from Dover, DE and the Yankees vs. Twins from Minnesota and then this evening the Mets vs. Dodgers from Shea Stadium here in NY. I hope that all of you have a super Sunday and enjoy a special stogie or two or....... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Good morning brothers. Awakened at 0545 for customary PT, followed by a breakfast of toast and fresh tropical fruits. Then greeted the sunrise over the Atlantic with a cortadito and a well-aged SCDLH Mercaderes. It was a great combination amidst this now gorgeously sunny, hot, tropical Miami Beach morning. About to head down to one of my boats and spend the day tossing a few lines out, watching baseball and enjoying the company of some friends coupled with more great smokes, libations and food.

Good morning everyone and yes, the joe is brewin'. I had a great weekend even though it flew by and all. After work today a number of us are going over to Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars to attend a Rocky Patel event and enjoy a few stogies, cool drinks and a tasty meal. I'll make sure to take some pictures and post them for everyones enjoyment. I hope you all have a great week and smoke a few of your favorites through out it........ :) :thumbs: :cool:

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. It's pretty quiet now around the Academy since Graduation was last week and all. The next major event that we'll have will be Reception Day (R-Day), that's when we'll get the class of 2012 in which is the 30th of this month. They are expecting roughly 1300+ Cadet Candidates and you can just imagine what it takes to issue all their clothing and military equipment required to be a Cadet. Well, enough of that for now, I hope you have a great Hump Day and you get to smoke a favorite cigar.......... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it looks like bagels are on this morning's breakfast menu. Congrats goes out to the Detroit Red Wings for winning the Stanley Cup Championship last night. Also, a big thumbs up to the Yankees for winning last night, it's been rough for them so far this season. Well, since it's Thursday, we'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening enjoying a few primo stogies and swappin' the weeks experiences. Today my good friend Bill Latta (Bravo Lima) is leaving us to go over to another directorate here at West Point. So we are throwing him a going away luncheon and most likely will be smoking cigars afterwards to celibrate his promotion. Happy Friday everyone. I'm prepairing for a meeting with the company bigwigs. Afterwards, I'm headed to a friends wedding in the same town that I'm getting married at the end of the month, followed by uneccesary wedding planning for my wedding. The thing that excites me the most about my wedding is not marrying my best friend, that is #2. Its not seeing everyone who is important to me, that is #3. The single best thing about my wedding day is that the hellacious wedding planning is over! A word to those whose mothers want to plan their weddings, DON'T DO IT!!! Hire a wedding planner, and honestly, your mom will get over it. Even if she doesn't, the crap she gives you is so worth the trade off of not having them plan a wedding.
Going to be smoking some good cigars this weekend.

Good morning all and I hope everyone has a super Sunday. It looks like we will be having another scorcher with the temps in the mid 90s and sunny. A great day to kick back on the sofa and enjoy some Yankees baseball and some NASCAR racing as well. Good morning everyone. Awoke to a whimpering dog due to the thunder and lightning outside. This storm is adding another inch or so to the already swollen rivers and streams around here. Does anyone have a good source on sandbags or ark blueprints? Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
 
Hey stogieman, sounds to me like you've got it all planned out!

I rolled into the coffee shop this morning at 6:00 am, we do the floors every Sunday morning and then open up at 11:00.
Paperwork awaits me this morning as well...then I'll be taking the rest of the day off. Third day off this year!!

Working on my second 12 oz latté right now, it won't be the last one I have.

Might even take a cigar for a walk down by the trail that runs along the river.

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. It's good to see your taking a day off there Jerry, or ta least a half of it :D. Well, it looks like the temps will be in the upper 90s again and the humidity close to 90%. Here is a quick look at the temps for the next 7 days:

TUE: 98°F
WED: 89°F
THU: 82°F
FRI: 86°F
SAT: 82°F
SUN: 83°F

At least our trip to Amish country startin' this Wednesday won't be that bad. I'm sure that I'll be enjoying the pool that is there at least once or twice. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week and gets to enjoy a couple of thier favorites....... :) :thumbs: :cool:
