Hey guys! I'm going broke buying Padrons. Anybody have any good suggestions for a great cigar for a decent price?
 
You can get RASCC's, BCJ's and SC El Principes for less than $5.00 a stick. I don't know what your definition of "decent" price is...........

Since PAM 26's go for $20.00, your definition of "decent" price is probably already pretty high :p therefore you can even get Prominente size Havanas for less than half of what you're paying for 'dem Pardons :p
 
I think onyx reserves are a cheaper smoke similar to padrons.
 
I'm gonna jack this thread a little and say that I find the graphic in your sig really objectionable.

There have been major flame wars started here and elsewhere over less. Now, if you want to put a pro-Bush/Cheney graphic in there, no problem. If you insist on keeping the one you have, then I'm gonna petition Rod to ban all political graphics, including mine.

Word to the wise, newbie.
 
If you want to get political ree-ree, you can meet your match at Americas Debate which is an excellent political forum. In regards to the question at hand-I'd go for Punch London Club Maduros or even Iguanas from Thompson's.

As for price range cvmfour, $2.00 to $5.00 range would be in my price range.

Bob, it's just a freakin' joke for cryin' out loud, just like the jibjab thing everyone raves about, it pokes fun at both sides.

Sometimes I too find things people post and do around here "objectionable" but that's their right to their opinion. ;)

LOL, I'm a Republican in Connecticut :0 which is a hell of a lot harder than a being a liberal in Utah.

LOL we do have a two party system Bob, not Democrats and Republicans but:

INCUMBENTS

and

CHALLENGERS

or

those on the INSIDE and those on the OUTSIDE.

I don't mind the good old fashioned fun of political campaigning but the "Insider's" game here in Connecticut is sickening. And, as a Republican in CT, I work on more losing campaigns than winning ones :p

It's still fun though, I have a heck of a lot more respect for anyone who's involved, serves their community and votes, even if I disagree with them than the people who don't get invloved, don't vote, then bitch and complain.

Re: Going broke... there are many, many habanas to be had for $5/per at a box rate.. If you're not ready to spring for a box..

Check your locals shop(s) for "Private Stock" somewhere around here, there's a thread about 2nd's Private Stock is a Davidoff second. I highly recommend. :thumbs: They're in the 2.50-3.50 range.

Also Old Fahioned, seconds of Partags (2 digit) and Montecristo (3 digit). Definitely worth acquiring a bundle (or two). Smoke one and put the other away. And dittos on the Consuegras!! I traded a couple Cubans for 40 that were about 4 years old and have never regretted it. :D

Don Kiki's are a decent smoke. Many of Mr. Bundles smokes are quite good. Don't know how they'll age, though.
