What a nice evening, 57 degrees, clear skies, so i headed out on the deck w/ a GOF that i've been dying to smoke, and a few fingers of Ron Zacapa 23yo rum.
What a beautiful cigar, the band is incredible and wrapper is a beautiful oily work of art, and needless to say, construction is as good as i've seen.
Pre-light draw was perfect, i mean perfect, nice tobacco and cocoa flavors. Lighting was very easy, had a small hollow spot in the center, and a slight run to start, but that was short lived and had a nice even burn. Beautiful ash!
It's getting time to head to Church now (got 4 girls to get ready) so i'll be brief in my tasting description, but let me say this bad boy waqs a taste BOMB, changing many times. Hints of spice, cedar, chocolate, dried fruits, and roasted almonds. This was probably the best cigar i've had, not one you smoke alot, but well worth the $22. Even my squirrel destroyer enjoyed it
