What a nice evening, 57 degrees, clear skies, so i headed out on the deck w/ a GOF that i've been dying to smoke, and a few fingers of Ron Zacapa 23yo rum.

What a beautiful cigar, the band is incredible and wrapper is a beautiful oily work of art, and needless to say, construction is as good as i've seen.

Pre-light draw was perfect, i mean perfect, nice tobacco and cocoa flavors. Lighting was very easy, had a small hollow spot in the center, and a slight run to start, but that was short lived and had a nice even burn. Beautiful ash!

It's getting time to head to Church now (got 4 girls to get ready) so i'll be brief in my tasting description, but let me say this bad boy waqs a taste BOMB, changing many times. Hints of spice, cedar, chocolate, dried fruits, and roasted almonds. This was probably the best cigar i've had, not one you smoke alot, but well worth the $22. Even my squirrel destroyer enjoyed it

Nice review and great pics! :)

...dried fruits? interesting

excellent review

I still haven't tried one, but I've got one resting. Perhaps 'fire' tonight if the rain stops.

Great review and pics.

I hope to try one of these someday.

BTW, what camera did you use?

Thanks for the review, and wonderful pics!!!

A VERY kind BOTL that has posted in THIS thread, bombed me with one a while back!!! But I can't bring myself to put a flame to it!!!

Thanks again Gator!

Thanks! Nice review with even nicer pic's.
So, you have a four legged, furry squirrel destroyer too. Mines killed about two or three hundred in his lifetime but, he has gotten old and is not as fast as he used to be.

Allright you hooked me up before. Where do I find this good looking smoke at the best price? Thanks again Frank.

Nice review, if you liked that GOF you should try one by Carlito, it is a bit more full bodied/flavored.

Good looking smoke, and great looking dog. I wish it would warm up a bit here, of course in July I'll be hoping for February again. Nice review.

Nice review! and great pics! I can't wait for weather to warm up here, to enjoy a nice cigar. Also, on been on my wish list 2 years now, but doubt I will ever see one.

If you don't mind...can you share where you found a God of Fire for $22? I've been wanting to try these, but I can't find them for less than $40.

Thanks!
