I received a few God of Fire's today. I couldn't wait to smoke one, so I let it settle in my humidor for about...three hours...I couldn't wait, they arrived in two days in their nice wooden box sealed in plastic, so I figured the cigar wouldn't be too bad...my way of justifying it!

The construction of the cigar was perfect. The label is excellent, similar quality to an Opus or Forbidden.

The pre light smell and feel was great. I lit the cigar with a nice wooden match, nice flame, great light. The cigar burned almost perfectly. I think I only ashed twice. I smoked it for about 75 minutes.

The cigar had a nice woody flowery taste, very consistent flavors until the last two inches where it got pretty strong, although that doesn't surprise me as it was burning pretty hot then.

All in all, a very good cigar. Was it one of the best I've smoked? No. I look forward to smoking the other style, I hear they're better. The God of Fire can't compare to the Don Carlos Edicion de Anversario, that is a much better cigar. Actually, I think the Opus line is better and quite a bit cheaper.

Anyway, it's worth trying if you haven't had one...
