Hey all, I've searched a little around the site, and other than some real nice pictures I can't seem to pin down what these should be selling for in stores as singles.

Corona in FL has both 2005 God of Fire cigars being sold as singles for about $22 and $24 for Robusto and Double Robusto.

And they have 5 BBMF's that are left after they split up all of the cd gift sets that they had, and they are asking $55 each for those.

Can someone tell me if this is highway robbery or a somewhat decent price?

Thanks.

ps - the store also has full boxes of GOF's, as well as a full 2005 Opus X humidor deal, the one that sells for around $2000. And they are selling the GOF's in boxes of 4 as well, and they have a couple 2004 GOF/lighter combos.

Well, Casa Fuente sells the BBMF for $100 so I'd say it's a good price, LOL.

Rob you only get the humi if you but it. All the sticks have to go to me. :sign:

Gonz I got some of those for $23 each so the price is right. Are they worth it not according to the Quad-state herf. tony_ny only smoked a half inch before he let it go out and put it in the ash tray. It would be something fun to say you had. They are a mild cigar from what I heard as none of the ones I have have been put to the flame yet.

The prices for the GOF sticks are pretty much in line with MSRP according to the Prometheus GOF site. The BBMF's are a great price at $55/each and even better at $50/each ;) Looks like they may have more than 5 available and are breaking into their sets for more *singles* sales.

The GOF prices are MSRP if you check the the GOF website. i think 21.95 and 23.95.

I ordered a box of each GOF for a box split on CigarSmokers.com and Corona has them for MSRP, and QUICK delivery!

What 2005 humidor? I think a split is coming :D

Whats the Opus X humidor? It's not the Opus22 package you're referring to, is it? What's the price on it?

Like Diesel said I wouldn't get to excited about the GOF, not at that price!

My local B&M got in two sets of the Opus X 05' Collection with the BBMF and the Opus shark, etc. He sets his price at $55 a stick, and that is in Vegas. So, in comparision with Casa Fuente on the strip I would say that is pretty good.

Does anyone really smoke the BBMF, or is it just for collection/conversation? I thouhgt I was a little crazy when I spent $ 25 for a Padron 40th Maduro -

I've seen the BBMF cut and then smoked. I'm saving mine for a special occasion.

I was a little off on the price for that Opus X set, here's a link to what they had, and now that I think about it, they wanted more than the msrp listed on the preceding link. I think they were asking around $800 or so.

Not much point in buying a cigar if you never plan on smoking it. I have a BBMF waiting to be smoked...I'll burn it when the time is right. And I'll have absolutely not regrets about doing so. :p
