I just got my Gurkha order from CI. Legend Anni's, Ancient Warriors, Grand Masters (BTL looking thing), regents. Problem is, just don't know which one to smoke first.

Looking forward to them all. Thanks to all the CPers who have done reviews on Gurkhas and helped prompt me to order. Hope to put some reviews up soon.

Depends how much time you have, the AW runs about 90 minutes. Try the Anni''s first.

Grand masters are fabulous looking..!!

Well i never smoked one but i smoked the Hansotia Sherpa dos capas..which is essentially the same cigar just 20" shorter!!LOL!

I didn't give you one of those Alex??? The way you were ribbing me about handing those out at the last smoker???

If not, sorry... I've got one with your name on it!!! (I owe you poker smokes anyways... :whistling: )

Actually, I found the Grand Master to be just a bit lighter than the Mystics. Good flavor and all, but a bit on the light side of medium, IMO...

The Legend, IMO, is the best of the bunch as far as flavor (more on the fuller side of medium). The Symphony/Signature (silver band) is a very nice fully medium bodied cigar - very enjoyable. I think the Regents are okay - not a bad smoke, but not my favorite in the Gurkha line... I probably need to smoke more Regents to gain a better idea of their character.

If you haven't tried the new Ancient Warrior yet (they released them about a month ago), get your hands on one of those... They are fully on the medium side with a nice spice to them (not overpowering). Nice complex flavors. Brazilian wrapper - Costa Rican Binder and Dominican filler. These were meant to compete with the CAO Brazilia's - I think it is definitely going to give CAO a run for their money (although, as I understand it, the Ancient Warrior may be a dollar to two more than the CAO).
