have to cheer for my team Green Bay, but also have a go Favre inside me!

Favre used to be the guy I respected most because he played the game the old way. That all ended when he started playing the "I'm bigger than the game" stuff. I hope he throws 6 picks and loses in humiliating fashion.

My father, like me, was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, and some of my fondest memories of our last few years together involve watching Favre lead the Pack from behind to win in the last few minutes of the game. So . . . yeah.

Even so, after Favre's characterless shenanigans the past couple seasons, I'm really, really hoping the Packers defense sacks a stomphole in his over-the-hill ass. Repeatedly.

I got to see him play in Green Bay once and while I don't respect his antics of late I still respect his drive. I'd hope it is a good game but the old guy is doing pretty well at the moment.

Great game, on both sides. I was torn on this one, as a Packer fan and a Favre fan.

It was an OK game. I think that Favre was a little over the top. Some of the calls against GB were ridiculous. They got called for every holding call but MN walked away from a bunch. I call BS.

I was torn too. Favre played a great game! I was impressed that the Packer's defense stepped up to stop the run like they did. After they way they got run all over the last couple of weeks I really didn't expect that. As much as I hate the Vikings, Favre is still as exciting to watch play today as he ever was. Thompson and McCarty need to go.

I noticed that too. The score doesn't reflect how one sided that game felt though. 8 sacks... Ugh, where's the Offensive line?

Agreed, MaCarty and Thompson need to go. The O-line is in horrible shape and has been for a few years. Prior to that, the D sucked but they've drafted well in that area and it goes to show how much it's improved, when they were able to stop the run last night. I like Rodgers and I think he'll improve down the road, turning into a great QB.

After watching the entire game, the score really didn't reflect how one sided it was, you're right. 8 sacks and 4.5 from Jared Allen? Good Lord.

I'm suprise the game received an "OK" rating. I thought it was pretty intense. It almost had a playoff atmosphere. Lots of movement on the ball, crazy defense by MN and almost 700 yards of passing.

MN dominated that game much more than the 23/30 score showed. Lots of work to do for GB. If MN pass when the run is shutdown they will be a monster team to deal with....

Bad loss, but I thought it was a great game. I agree that it felt like a playoff game.

I thought the best part was that ESPN noted that he is the only NFL Quarterback to defeat all 32 teams.

Have you heard that Farve is 40??? I am surprised that the media is not playing that angle up. Also, Brett plays like a kid out there....and you never here the announcers mention that.

I've heard lots of coverage on both of those. In fact, if he wins a playoff game, he'll be the first QB over 40 to do that. GO BRETT!!!
