I think you guys are nuts! Best part about the holidays are the release of hemingway maduros! I like the fact that people jump for the opus and anjeos and leave these on the shelves. :thumbs:

They get better with age, and if you lucky, try getting your hands on a sungrown. I had a SG Classic on Christmas coming home from my parents house and it was AWESOME. :love:

So I had this Hemi yesterday.
Didnt know it had Con. wrapper, I was sure it was a Cameroon.
After few pufs I already knew it was not my favorite connection - DR+Con.

Fortunatelly maduro wrapper did something good for this cigar, it was not the usuall Con. wrapper taste and I can say I did enjoy it, but I hope that nat version hemi will be better


Ps. I did noticed some spots on the wrapper, looking like resin... anyone know whats that?

Marc, by chance, I smoked the same cigar this past Sunday. My cousin's wife is a ballet instructor and one of her student's fathers gave her the cigar to pass to my cousin, who in turn gave it to me saying "I'll never be able to finish this, why waste it." By chance, I had a short story in the coolidor and we both sat down to a couple of fine smokes.

I wasn't in review mode, but I enjoyed the hell out of that cigar.

My cousin smoked about an inch of the short story. I considered finishing it for him...
