I recieved this smoke from my new bestest buddy ever Mr_Wolf in a trade. Thanks buddy. :p
Last night was my first herf with a local cigar club that I just found. The Akron Cigar Club. I wanted to celebrate right.
The drink:Stoli Vodka tonic.
First impressions: As with most Fuente products this was a very pretty smoke. Smooth to the touch with a nice oily appearance. Felt very light in weight for it's size. The prelight aroma was very rich with earth tones. By this time I was very exited.
The light: One match and it lit up very even and took very quickly. BAM The smoke billowed out think, white and never stopped. The draw was possibly the best I have ever experienced from start to finish. The burn was board straight from start to finish.
The flavor: This hit me like a tone of bricks! Chocolate, coffee and earth tones swirl from the smoke. I also detected a sweetness that I have never exerienced with a Fuente before I still cannot put my finger on what it was. Maybe a cocoa or honey sweetness but very faint just enough to notice. The flavor was very even and the only change was strength as it burned. The nicotine started to grow by the end but nothing to heavy. It took about 50 minutes to smoke.
Overall:I have missed it all day :D . I would give this smoke a 10 out of 10 without question. Worth the hype and the wait. Very bold and full of flavor that just begs to be unleashed.
The only issue I now have is where to I get more and still have a wife after I buy them? Next comes the King B for me to try. :p
I highly recomend this smoke.

What I want to know is how can someone who is member No. 8 can have waited so damn long to have smoked one of these.

Glad it was good for ya! . I had a #55 gifted to me, and had the same great smoking experience with it, too!!!

Nice review :D

Very nice review!! The #55 may just be my favorite in this line, although they are all very good.

Nice review Darren - Glad you enjoyed it. I'm a fan of all the Anejo line, the 55 is especially nice.

:D Very funny Doc! The first year of these was the year my whipper snappers were born. I sort of fell into a smoke at home mode and lost track of anything new for a few years. Plus if you can't find them you can't smoke them!

I just received a #55 in a bomb -- this review has me wetting my lips in anticipation of the day I get to smoke it!!

Man, such a great cigar. The one I got to smoke was so smooth, and the draw was like sucking through a straw...loose but giving billows of smoke!

Great stuff! Gots a #48 calling my name from the cooler!

Sounds like another beautiful thing from Fuente to bad I have yet to locate any of those bad boys.

Nice review. The Anejo #55 is my favorite out of the Anejo line and one of, if not the, favorite smoke of mine.

Glad you liked it.
