FSU beats UNC!

What a great game, luckily our boys hit their free throws when it counted and played some good defense down the stretch. Douglas had 27 points to lead the Noles to victory over the number 1 team in the land and get our first trip to the ACC championship game.

Edit: It helped that Lawson wasn't playing, but I'll still take it.

I do not doubt that at all Brian, but after many, many years of horrible basketball at FSU I am happy to see the progress that's been made the last few years. Though we've been better, we've always seemed to let the big games slip through our fingers but today that didn't happen. Just giving some love to a team who doesn't get it very often.

I've got to be honest though, while I realize that its about time to change the guard at FSU and hand the torch off to Jimbo, I am not overly confident that he is the right guy. Bobby will retire when he retires, I believe he has earned that, but I have not seen much improvement in our offense since Jimbo has arrived. I guess this season will be the real measuring stick, but I'm a bit worried about the future of FSU football. That being said, 9-4 last season while stopping Wisconsin in our bowl was not a horrible season, I just wish that they'd get all this off the field shit handled.
