Not a bad price on the SCEP as long as shipping doesnt' cost anything.

Prices are still high!

Man you need to take into account that some vendors have to charge taxes on cigars. Take the UK for example where everything is doubled in price. Not every vendor is in a tax-free/duty-free zone and can avoid taxes like a few of them ;)

I know this has been said before, but price isn't everything. Sometimes service and quality are worth a few extra bucks. Build a relatioship with a vendor rather than jumping ship everytime something is $5 cheaper. You'll be amazed at what comes your way.

Shipping is $40 for 5-110 cigars and $80 for 111-220.

Given that some of these cigars can be had for 30-50% less at other vendors, I would have to be pretty amazed at "what comes my way," versus just buying what I want outright with all the extra loot I saved by not shopping here.

Add in the 100% profit they are making on their shipping charge, and I guarantee this vendor will never see a dollar of my money.

Ding Ding Ding...Someone gets it!

It's not about how cheap you can get a box. It's about developing a relationship with a vendor. Sure you might not have awesome stuff come your way, but the vendor will get to know your preferences and send good looking cigars instead of ho-hum. This is the problem with "blue light special buying." IMHO or vendor switching every month.

When I go to a cigar shop thats the first thing I look at, the vendor rather than just buying. If I like the guy than ill shop there but I dont like to buy as much online because shops have a hard time keeping open as it is and I like my vendor a good bit, we exchange smokes regularly etc. etc.

K&P

The prices are standard swiss, back when the swiss franc was down to .6 to a US dollar, they were pretty competitive. Shipping has always been high from Switzerland. Quality has also been excellent from most swiss sources.
