That's right folks, there is a Padron 1964 Anniversary Sampler 5-pack sitting on my front step at my house right now. It'll be sitting there until Sunday late afternoon or evening until I get back. And I would like to thank the folks at cheapercigars.com for their inability to get anything right on this order, especially my shipping request which would have prevented these cigars from possibly getting stolen or sitting in the rain.

It's really quite simple, remember back on April 8th when I posted about a fiver of 1964's that they accepted payment for, then told me they were backordered? Well, the two weeks they told me turned into three, then four, then I finally said send me something else or refund my money. Unfortunately the dumbass who runs that place "does not know how" to refund a paypal payment. So I accepted a $10.00 discount on a sampler pack. And then at the time (May 2nd) I told him not to ship until Friday, May 6th, since I'd be out of town all weekend until Wednesday. Should have been a done deal, and the cigars would have come Thursday or Friday at the latest. Except they didn't ship until Tuesday May 10th, and once again I'm away from the house all weekend, so when they are delivered, I won't be home, and they'll be sitting on my front porch.

So hurry up, and get over to my house for a free Padron sampler just sitting there waiting to be taken!

And if you haven't figured this out yet, never order anything from Cheapercigars.com, they are a bunch of circus clowns who have yet to do one thing right in my book.

And thanks for letting me vent.

Well, according to mapquest, it's 1027.71 miles from my house to yours with an estimated driving time of 16 hours and 20 minutes.

But then again, I do love them Padrons... :whistling:

Looks like I'm gonna beat you - or we can do ride sharing if you stop by my house on the way there...

Total Est. Time: 6 hours, 49 minutes Total Est. Distance: 411.72 miles

Don't think I could make the round trip and be back to work on Monday morning.

Google map search - 1,615 mi (about 1 day 2 hours) :sign:

Ha! Amateurs... here's my trip.

Total Est. Time: 60 hours, 28 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 3275.49 miles

ROAD TRIP!

Too damn cold for me to go up there. Hah...Hah...Hah...

Sorry folks, time is up. I returned home, removed the package from my front porch, and it looks like everything will be ok. The fed ex guy had done a good job of placing the package right up as close to the door as possible, and the overhang seems to have protected it from the rain. And luckily it was raining, so the humidity had to be high! They are now recovering from their ordeal in my cooler, and looking forward to better days.

As for those asshats at cheapercigars.com, well, I don't think any deal they offer is worth the frustration they caused!

At least it wasn't 90+ degrees and they weren't laying in the sun.
