Free Giveaway!

Great contest, even better signature. Might I suggest you not post here anymore? Honestly, someone I met recently had me convinced to just leave you alone and drop all of this, but now that your stupid contest doesn't work and you've got a smartass remark in your signature I've decided otherwise. You can count one more person that will not think twice about letting others know what a bunch of asshats you are.

And yes, I'm having a bad day, and I'm going to take it out on you. :D

Aren't you the fake retailer?

We're a real cigar store in Florida. A few guys on this board just have a problem with our Fuente prices (which we are not an authorized dealer for so we sell them higher than msrp).

as well as other prices as well....for example your padron...you dont have to look more than one thread down for better deals.....

not mention some of your tatics.

for example...."free giveaway" usually means you are giving something away. not a contest with a chance to win something.

i think your sig tag says it all....

I don't really think that's why you sell them higher than msrp. You stated once before that since you are not an authorized dealer you don't get that at the same price. But as a service to your customers, since you're such great people, you carry them. But you have to mark them up higher than msrp otherwise you'd be losing money. Welcome to Customer Service 501 (yes, apparantly this is a graduate level course).

Today's lesson, how not to gouge. So let's pretend that there is a cigar that customers of your store really want, but you can't carry or are not an authorized dealer. However in an effort to not lose those customers to other stores that do carry those cigars, you decide to go ahead and get some of those cigars via some other means, even if that means getting them by paying retail at another store. So now you have two options. You can offer those cigars at, perhaps, a very slight markup so as to cover your costs involved in procuring said cigars. Or you could be a jackass and offer them upwards of five times msrp, in an effort to squeeze even more money, i.e. acting like a gouger.

Have I made my point yet?

Well Hot DAMN! Since you are answering questions, what about the rumors you scan Cigar Boards for e-mail address for your spam mail.... :whistling: ;)

And it's not the fact that you rip off people who don't know any better, it's also that you came on this board and even said you were here just to stir shit up.

No apology, no answer to the spam e-mails. Don't blame us. ;)

You made your point to an extent.. I really don't mind hearing what people think. Now let me ask this, Do you know what area of South Florida our shop is in? Average income around here is $250,000+. Average home price is $350,000+ and thats usually for just a townhouse. Our typical customer doesn't care about price and unfortunately most Internet customers do... The customers I do have, they are happy with the service I provide. And just a note, YOU have no idea what I do for my customers or did your friend tell you...

LOL. Nice, if the customer has enough money to shell out, why not gouge them?

If you local buyers don't mind being ripped off, then why the internet sales? ???

hey if you are happy selling products to the uneducated buyer, then more power to you.

if you are more interested in becoming a respectable, reputable cigar store, then you have completely missed the mark.

you posts indicate the former, so i suggest you keep your advertising to the south florida area.

Fine we can continue not to like one another. You know what I think of you and I know what you think of me.. Maybe I should start following you around the forums. Then we can be like 2 little peas in a pod arguing back and forth because nothing I say will ever make you happy and you will never agree with anything...

Well I'm done here.. You guys can continue to bash me, I know you like to.. I have orders to process..

Your shop is in Pompano Beach, FL, right? US Census says that last time they recorded MEDIAN HOUSEHOLD INCOME in Pompano Beach, FL it was $36,073. How the hell did it jump to $250,000? So you gouge because you say you can? Not the type of retailer I'll deal with.

Also, try living in Los Angeles where the cost of a small condo is $500,000 +. Your stat's are a bit off...

Slide your way back down your slime trail to clubstogie. Seangar and his idiotpalooza can whistle dixie for you.

Average household income: $250,000
Average house price: $350,000
Ripping off your customers cause they can afford it and don't know any better: Priceless

Can a non-paying "vendor" be banned?

If not, I have a few dried out Havanna Honeys I found in the trunk of my ex-wife's car a few years ago.

I should find some wealthy friends to buy them.....
any doctors on the board? I am not an "official" vendor, you can have them for just $43 a stick. I'll throw in some unbanded precision rolled 100% topbacco cigars for you, too.
