For the tennis fans out there

That is crazy. For sure the ball has to travel farther since it is so high up? I am not particuarly scared of heights, but this would scare the shite out of me.

I'm not sure how much of an effect 200m would make for air resistance. Dubai is right on the gulf, therefore right close to 0m above MSL (mean sea level), and Winnipeg is in the range of 230m so where I am right now is basically the same distance above sea level. Maybe a noticeable difference would exist in Denver or another city somewhere in the 1 mile above sea level range.

Heck you could get even more technical that since Dubai is around 25[sup]o[/sup]N latitude, they would experience a weaker pull of gravity than Winnipeg at 50[sup]o[/sup]N latitude due to the flattening of the Earth near the poles. :whistling:

Yeah, I am a dorkfish! Caught me on a corndog. I realized that silly statement after I typed it up and just decided to leave it. Still, I would be scared shite-less to play up there. I would go up. Probably just not whack the balls around. My wife says I am a panzy

Come to think of it, if you hit the ball over the edge and past the safety net, the ball will certainly travel more than 210m! Now... how far out does that net go??
