Hi guys,

Sorry if this isn't posted in the correct area. I didn't want to post in the retailer section, since I'm not a retailer. Please move to the correct area if this isn't it.

I have a brand new Whynter Stainless Steel 1.2 cu. ft. Cigar Cooler Humidor CHC-120S that I am trying to sell because I don't really have a need for it.

It's the same one available on BestBuy for $237 + tax or Amazon for $246 + tax

I'm looking to get $200 for it. I would prefer not to ship it, but if you want to pay for that I'll consider it. Otherwise, it can be picked up in Jersey City, NJ or Monroe Township, NJ

You must be a contributing member in good standing for the previous four months in order to post a sale in these forums. "Want To Buy" posts are allowed, but are at the discretion of the membership and the seller. New members asking for hard to find cigars is considered rude and not within the spirit of these forums. New members or members that have been inactive for a period of time may be asked to send their funds before any product is shipped. Exceptions are sometimes allowed. Neil - I approve your sale assuming you're willing to ship your side first.
 
Hate to be the bearer of bad news Neil, but if someone has a prime account, it's likely cheaper for them to go the Amazon route than to pay for you to ship to them.

Why do I get the feeling this "fell off the back of the truck" or "walked out the back of a warehouse"?

If you're going to imply the guy stole it just do it outright and make sure you have proof. Since Rod gave him permission to do the sale seems tasteless to comment in such a way.

Just saying. Sounds odd to say. I have no use for this. I've seen that sort of suspect language used in ads many a times. Could totally have been acquired or gifted and not needed. Maybe even a double ship. I've seen that also. In no way do I know Neil form Joe and my sincere apologies to Neil if I came across as rude.

Yes you came across rude, and I still don't know what you are implying. There's nothing written that sounds like it got this in a nefarious way, yet you keep making assumption without having any information. Who cares how he got it. He has it and doesn't need it,and has it offered up for sale. You can either buy it or ignore it. Either way, once Rod approved the sale any comment other than personal experience with the seller or facts are irrelevant.
 
Neil, you might consider Craigslist in your area to sell this. You'd probably have better luck getting a local buyer that way. Either way good luck with your sale.
 
We're a board of opinions, some you agree with and some you don't. We should never let some new guy, get in the middle of two upstanding members. This could have been resolved over PM, instead of on the board. Just my opinion.
