So, this was a very nice treat. It seems that I always find out that I am smoking a good cigar when I have the least amount of time to really enjoy it. My mission over here puts me in charge of a section of Iraqi's, and they have no kind of rules about smoking anywhere. So I use this to my advantage and try to smoke one or two a week while I am at work.

Well the last 2 that I have smoked have been really fine smokes indeed!

Dominican Republic, Medium, Colorado Maduro, 5x50
This line was introduced in 2000 and uses a 1996 vintage wrapper. Packed uncellophaned in natural cedar cabinets for long term aging.

This thing was a beauty, the wrapper looked more like a sungrown natural, than a Maduro, the pre light was sweet to the taste, and had light hints of cedar to the nose. Used the score and lift, toasted the foot, and then dived right in.

From the first pull, until I was forced to put it down with about 1 1/2 inches left this thing had a razor sharp burn, with a beautiful black burn line contrasting against the wrapper. While not overly complex this was a great tasting cigar, that was again almost wasted on the fact that I wold rather try to wrangle cats into a bag with one arm behind my back than to babysit grown Iraqi males. There were nice hints of cedar, leather and premium tobacco and as I smoked, I kept getting a sweetness that I could not place that would find it's way in through all the other flavors.

Sorry this is short, but I was not intending on doing a review, but at the $4 a stick price range this is a nice little sleeper of a cigar, that I thought I would share with you guys.
