Punch Petit Coronation Tube
Woke up this morning 6am to headed off to work overtime,(they pay you more because of the things you miss). As always I like to treat myself to a cigar to start the morning right. This weekend I picked up the Punch Petit Coronation Tube.
This cigar was gifted to me by a very fine botl at a recent herf, I can't thank him enough for such a tasty cigar.

construction and inspection: Almost seamless smooth wrapper with a slit reddish huh beautiful cigar. I did not give a pre light smell, I didnt know I would be writing a review but I was so Impressed with it's performance that I had to.
I cut the cap with my fingernail and began.

Pre light draw: I was a little concerned being that the draw was a little lose, but after lighting all my worries went away.

ignition: I broke out my lotus t3 and lit it up I'm to impatient to toast a foot. With the lotus t3's burners I find I always get a even light.

First third: the cigar opened with a strong pepper taste and the smoke was plentiful and thick. Thinking to myself I thought this was supposed to be a mild cigar. Soon the pepper faded away after about the 1in. point but still present. With a light tobacco taste that was slowly intensified bringing me into the 2nd third.

Second third: after the pepper taste faded away the cigar came at me with a sweet creaminess that was the most pleasant taste I got from a cigar. But alas all good things must come to a end and This slowly faded away.

final third: After the most pleasant sweetness I was surprised with a rich tobacco flavor that in itself was amazing.

the nub: got a little bitter towards the very end but there only so much you can ask of the lil guy.

My first review how did I do sorry no pics(no digicam).

ps: I got to get me some more of these

It's a nice review! Well done!

However, a review without pics is like listening to a good movie without seeing what is going on

The review process for me is all about the pics. You tend to be more descriptive putting the words to the pics and of course, the viewer gets the entire orgasm, not just the foreplay. :sign:

I guess what I'm saying is, next time add some pics.

Brian

Good review indeed, but yeah, pics please!

I've yet to have one of these, I'll have to check out the B&M. I've really liked all the Punch's I've tried with one exception, the Grand Cru, however their regular blend, the gran puro, the rare corojo, are pretty damn awesome! Always priced really well too!

Unless there is a version out there that I don't know about, I don't think you'll find these in your local B&M in Vegas. All of the examples I have seen (only in photos, of course ;) ) are from Cuba.

EDITED TO ADD:

Nice review. I have a friend that agrees wholeheartedly with the "I got to get me some more of these" sentiment.
