I just got my first humidor.Question when I put my new sticks in my humidor, do I remove them from the wrappers.
It's really a matter of preference. Do a search on cellophane - on or off. Should get some good info on it.

Oh yeah, what would I search for if I wanted to find out if you left them in a baggie, if that would create is own controlled Rh area or if it would adapt to the general Rh of the humidor? Same for a tube or coffin?
Yeah, got a few no banders in a buy and was wondering if I left them in the baggies that separates and identifies them like 4 per bag, if the Rh would leak in or if they would dry out . Might just make some holes in the bag or leave it open as you suggested. Are you talking about keeping a cigar in a sealed baggie in your humi? Would be good to keep sticks with no cellophane from marrying maybe, but I would leave the baggie open IMO. As for tubes/coffs, I believe the RH still gets to the sticks inside (especially the coffin). For me, I've gotten several cigar boxes (thanks Jay!) and store singles (nakey) in separate boxes inside my coolidor. Boxes and cooler (it's a huge Omaha Steaks cooler) were free, have a 70% Heartfelt tube in the coolidor along w/a digi hygro. All of it's in the bottom of a closet.
How do others on the board store their cigars with no cellophane in a smaller humi (if no coolidor)? Just throw 'em in together nakey? Use single baggies?
