Well my humidor is finished and has been up and running for a month now. There are a couple things I need to do eventually, but for now it works.

A picture of the front. The drawer at the top is ~1/2" too wide on each side, but I couldn't cut it with my miter or ras, so I need to make a new crosscut sled for the table saw so I can trim it...

The drawer

The inside. Since I don't ever open the boxes, I took out the shelves for a little more room, although I do have 2 if I ever decide to put them back in. They are adjustable, so I can pretty much put them where I need them to go. BTW, I ended up going with the Accumonitor for the humidification, in case you couldn't tell.

Here's my tough guard dog sleeping in the middle of the bed... In his defense, the picture was taken sometime between 3 and 4 am. Since I needed to get my cigars organized, I was forced to set them up around Bailey.

Edit: Sorry for the poor quality images, they were taken in low light with a camera phone!

Now that is some porn if i've ever seen some!!!! Wooohooo!

Nice looking box! Is there a reason the one side (left in the pic) is pushed out ?

Yes, the carcass used to be a shelf in my local shop and that's the way it was made. I just made new shelves, drawer, and doors. I did have an in progress post with pics a couple months ago. Thanks for the compliments guys!

Nice collection

How well does the Cabinet seal?

It seals too well. There was no airflow, causing the humidifiers to never run (maybe once in 3 weeks after stabilization) and increasing the potential for mold. For work, I build a lot of buildings that absolutely must be air tight, and I guess I made this too much like work! I ended up reworking some of the weatherstripping to allow a little airflow...

Brad,

Great looking box, and an even more impressive collection of smokes!

Just wondering where you were storing that life sized LLoyd Carr blowup doll? ;)

Seriously, some very nice work!

Lloyd has his own room. He's sitting in a chair holding a rope strung over the gallows with a noose on the end holding a life size Jim Tressel blow-up doll!

Damn Brad! Nice stash. Again, thanks for the "little" package that you gave me while herfing in NJ the other week.

Wow it took me a few minutes of trying to figure out who the hell you were until I finally looked at your sig!

Grateful1, sadly, that 858 box is down to a couple cigars :(
