What do you think of Fear Factor? All I can say, it's get's sicker and sicker! ???

Funny you should mention it, our household had a short discussion of it yesterday. A certain young filly in the house loves the show, where I don't take much stock in 'reality' shows of nearly any kind.

Only saw the show a few times...I could handle some of the sh*t they try..but the eating of live things...ugh...I'd puke!

I agree about eating the shiznit that they eat. Who has a fear of eating brains or balls? No one, but it is gross. I saw make fear real... Make someone climb a tower 300-400 feet high. For me to qualify as a tower climber, I climbed up 350 feet(attached to a safety climb), then hooked my safety lanyards to the tower, climbed halfway around, double checked my lanyards, then leaned back and let go of the tower. I only fell back about a foot, but it is dtill a rush. Actually, after climbing over the 150 mark, I started to get nervous. Anyways, I think most of what they do is crap...I know that there legal things they have to fulfill, but you never see anyone from the millitary on there. How about firefighters or policemen. How about utility workers that work on high tension wires. Mountain clibers or divers that submerge to depths of 500-1000 feet. Forget the pansy vegetarian that has to eat a cow brain, the model from Deleware, or the accountant from SF...I want to see someone who is used to dangerous activities actually get scared! Maybe I am sick, but the reality shows are mostly crap, based on a good idea.
Emo

They'll do pretty much anything for ratings  ???  I say bring back Ozzie and Harriet or some of those good ole family entertainment shows  ;)

I agree emo. Much of what they do is not a fear, it's plain sick and gross. Like eating live things. It's pretty stupid. I say make 'em scale a mountain with no safety equipment. Forget eating bugs and premature chickens which haven't hatched yet, let's make these contestants really experience some fear. Drop 'em from a helicopter 500 ft. in shark infested water, and see if they can make it to shore alive. Make 'em cross a swampy bayou in Lousianna and see if they can make it across...alive... Anyone can eat things, but let's make these people use *some* skill. Make them use their mind and think.

I think I'm gonna start my own fear factor :)
