We got any fans of SEC teams on here?

Most dominant conference in the country?

I'm a Notre Dame fan, but I lived in Arkansas for ten and a half years. There's no escaping it. Since ND is conveniently independent, I'm partial to the SEC, as far as conferences go. And, yes, there's no doubt they are the most dominant conference in NCAA football. Six straight years holding the Coach's Trophy pretty much authenticates that.

Auburn and SEC fan here. I won't go so far as to cheer for other teams, but I prefer the SEC team to come out on top. Not much to cheer for on the Auburn front this year, though...

I live in Kentucky......sooo I have to root for other team because in the words of Charles Barkley "We are turrible"

Of course I am an SEC fan ;-) Roll Tide!! On the eve of knee surgery I am looking forward to crutches(not) and watching the boys put a good whoopin' on Mizzou this weekend...I hate off weeks. It did warm the cockles of my heart that LSU sucked so bad (again) that they could not beat Florida. Yeah Yeah I know Alabama "needed" them to win but pffft...now they can sit and stew til that first Saturday night in November. My time to be at the hospital is earlyyyy at 5:15AM so I may get to check in one more time til then.

HUGS~~

Good luck with the knee surgery and subsequent recovery/rehabilitation. First time cutter or have you had work done on that joint before? If this is your first experience, all I can tell you is listen to the docs to take it easy for as long as they say, but as soon as they release you to bear weight and start flexion... hit it with a vengeance. Stretching a freshly-repaired joint or ligament is nothing compared to the joy of having to break scar tissue from lack of use... Again, good luck. Hope it's over quick and the rehab is easy.

As for LSU, they are in for a hell of a time again this weekend. They may surprise me, but I think after Saturday LSU is going to go from "contender" to "pretender". They'll be out of the top ten unless there are some upsets by unranked teams.

Dangit Stu I don't have a "like" button!! How are you??

Kann this is the other knee...had the right one done about 3 years ago and if it goes like last time I will be in PT the next day. Relentless but necessary. And you have my full agreement on LSWho.

Texas A&M was certainly underestimated coming into the SEC.

I'd say you've performed about as expected. I mean whoppin' up on poor old Arkansas with JLS in charge isn't exactly a great accomplishment.

And what do you have to say now?

I'd say you were right that nobody gave A&M the respect they deserved. You beat everyone you should beat and then some. However, my statement was valid at the time, A&M hadn't beating anybody worth while in the SEC up to that point since Arkansas was vastly overrated after the coaching change. Congrats on a hell of a season.
