European Beer Star Awards

Don't know if this is old or new or if you have seen it before, but I just came across it this morning. PDF file of the medal winners. Now, like I said in my beer float thread, I'm no beer whore, so I don't know how widely recognized this group is, if these awards mean anything, but I figured I'd pass the info along nonetheless.

It looks like they are in their 4th year of these awards and looking at the list of winners they seem to be on the right track. The thing about all of the different "awards" and "medals" is there are 2 million of them so it starts to mean nothing when Miller Light is claiming their 10th gold medal in a row for "Best American-Style Light Lager".

Kind of surprising to see how many Samuel Adams beers placed well in the different catagories. I like a lot of their beers but I never imagined they could compete with the Germans and Belgians.
