Awhile back there was a question regarding whether NC's aged as ISOM's do. I have an answer; or at least a partial one.
About 2 years ago I bought a near full box of the cigars in the topic. They were 4 years old at the time, or were represented as such; smoked one today which is now 6 years old.
Over the past 2 years I've used these in passes, trades and bombs, as they seemed a little strong to me. All I can say, as of today, is I wish I'd hung onto more of them. Sometime in the past two years they turned the corner, and the one I'm smoking right now is one of the nicest, smoothest smokes I've had in a long time.
So yes, NC's do age, and in the case of this smoke, do so incredibly well. Today's clunker can become tomorrow's Bentley!
