Nice looking pyramide comes in a box of 35. The one I tasted was from 2004. Two words: smooth and creamy! The 3 I had so far had consistently put me in the ZONE

Some of the best Honduras has to offer. These and the Robusto Largas were part of my regular rotation when I used to smoke more often.

Yup yup, ERdM is a great stick for smooth and creamy.

What is the name of the Robusto-size that comes wrapped in tissue? Those are nice.

Cafe Au Laits are my go-to 15-20 minute smoke...

I've had only one of the natural FdL but can't say that I was blown away. My local has a box of the maddies with probably 8 or 9 months on them. Perhaps it's time to give that a try.

I enjoy the Cafe Au Lait as well. Have any of you boys tried the sister stick, the Cafe Noir?

I've only had one ERDM, was smooth, but not so creamy. Maybe I'll try some again later. I'll be on the look out for these FdLs. I love smooth and creamy!!!!

I have not tried either. Thank for the tip--I'll buy some at my B&M in the next few days.

I bought a box of these a few years ago and didn't care for them. I love the natural wrapped Flor de Llanza, but the maduro is missing something IMO. Not a bad cigar, but I prefer the natural.

THAT is a goal of mine. I am all outfitted and I want to do it from a boat in the Ches. bay next summer/fall. I have tried it from the surf for blues and such but on the outer banks there never seems to be room to cast without disrupting someone else. Plus casting a fly line in the surf is a pretty complicated excerise, you have to retrieve faster than the tide brings the line in. Pretty tough to do unless it is almost dead calm.
