Thanks to the generosity of a certain member of this forum, I had the pleasure of partaking of my first Padron 40th anniversary in celebration of my recent engagement. To go along with it I bought a bottle of Balvenie Doublewood which is my favorite scotch so far. Razorback and Bond came over to celebrate for a very enjoyable evening. The weather was the best it has been all summer here in Northwest Arkansas. It was probably around 70 degrees and a small storm was blowing in. Perfect smoking weather in my book!
Although the 40th anni wasn't noticeably better than the 26 #2s it was still a great time and a cigar I won't have to many chances to smoke. The Doublewood went well with the cigar I thought and the company was very enjoyable as well. We smoked and drank for a couple hours and finally called it a night. Thanks to a certain BOTL for allowing me to enjoy this stick. It was a memorable cigar for a very memorable occasion.
