Engagement celebration

Thanks to the generosity of a certain member of this forum, :love: I had the pleasure of partaking of my first Padron 40th anniversary in celebration of my recent engagement. To go along with it I bought a bottle of Balvenie Doublewood which is my favorite scotch so far. Razorback and Bond came over to celebrate for a very enjoyable evening. The weather was the best it has been all summer here in Northwest Arkansas. It was probably around 70 degrees and a small storm was blowing in. Perfect smoking weather in my book!

Although the 40th anni wasn't noticeably better than the 26 #2s it was still a great time and a cigar I won't have to many chances to smoke. The Doublewood went well with the cigar I thought and the company was very enjoyable as well. We smoked and drank for a couple hours and finally called it a night. Thanks to a certain BOTL for allowing me to enjoy this stick. It was a memorable cigar for a very memorable occasion. :thumbs:

I would have to agree, a good time was had by all. I think the highlight for me was when Bo (Brandon's dog) ate the butt of my Opus. Man,...that was funny! You might want to take him to the vet though...he may have a hole in his stomach.

Great way to celebrate! We celebrated ours by getting stupid on shots of Jack and Bud long-necks in an airport bar, drunker in first class, then landing in New Orleans (Jazz Fest 05) and smoking a PAM 26 torp (I think it was a torp).
Nice way to do it!
