I'm not going to post picture on top of picture of my stash, but here's what my little addiction has gotten too at this stage of the game. The trays and shelves are solid cedar. I've got one more double tray coming to take care of all that overflow in the top tray shown here. I've still got two other 100 count desktops holding what wouldn't fit in here (one's all ACID's). To think...all I wanted to do was enjoy an occasional cigar.

One double tray shot just to get an idea...

Does it create condensation? If so, where does it go, b/c it looks like the bottom trays are at the very bottom of the unit.

Nice cigars so far

Condensation actually drains out the back of this unit into a tray mounted on the back (stock out of the box). The bottom tray is actually about an inch or more off of the floor of the cooler. There's about 14oz of 65% beads spread out, keeping everything in the 64% - 66% RH range top to bottom. I got a pound, but some of those beads are in one of my desktops. I'm amazed at how well the cooler has worked out.
I'm not going to post pictures of my entire stash (nothing special really)...but I did install a hasp and padlock on the cooler last night, just to keep honest people honest (bldg maint, etc...if you know where I'm coming from).

Everything is looking good Walt. Looks like you are on a Shark binge.

Who is going to throw in the: "Send me those Opus, they look fake" ...well send them to me Walt!

Looks nice Sir, well done. My question is how many steps between this and the espresso machine?

I will give it a go...

The tubes of those Monte's don't match the color scheme of the Opus... You should send me the Opus to hold on to until you smoke the Monte's then I will send what's left back...

Addy in profile :)

LOL...I went looking for Sharks, and more than one person came through. I have a problem with saying "Thanks, but I'm all set"...

Miss Livia (the espresso machine) is in need of some much overdue attention. She's not aware of the wine cooler full of cigars in the next room.

Brian...very noble of you  And thoughtful enough to ask for the Opus, instead of my risking the legal ramifications of shipping CC's within the US borders.

Klipsch, your Edgestar is looking great! I'm still trying to get shelves/drawers made for mine. I diverted the condensation back onto the beads in a slightly interesting way. I took the idea of using the three ring binder divider that someone else used, and went a little bit of a different direction with it. I shopped everywhere, and short of ordering them online, no one carries those binder dividers anymore! So, I bought a cheap, plastic trash can with flat sides instead, cut out a section that I measured to fit the length and width needed, and then used a heat gun to mold and curve the plastic except for the end that connected under the peltier. I then used gorilla tape to attach it, and used small sections of the plastic to create channels to help divert the water into the curved section of the plastic. The runoff goes straight onto the beads now! I put one of the wine racks inside and stacked the cooler full of empty cedar boxes, and now the RH is reading at a perfect 66%, though it dips to 61% when the cooling unit kicks on. Thanks for the help via PM setting this thing up, I do appreciate it!!!
