I had a quiet night at home last night as I wind down my vacation :( So late last night I decided to watch a movie. I landed on "Charlie Wilson's War" (great movie and I am not a big movie watching guy). So I dig in my stash and pull out a My Father. I lit it up and puffed for a little bit and remembered thinking "what's the big deal...its just an okay cigar". Well I found myself not being able to put down this "okay" cigar. I smoked that bad boy right down to my finger tips.

It had a lot of big smoke and creamy, woody flavor. Then followed with some intermittent spice. Now the embarrassing part....this thing knocked me on my ass. I don't know if it was becuase I hadn't really eatten anything or what. As I typically prefer, it started out pretty mild. Then got a little stronger about half way in but by the time I was down to the nub it really hit me. I was really surprised. Definitely a keeper.

I have smoked the lancero and I thought it was a fantastic tasting smoke. They are a little pricey to put in my regular lineup though.

I've now tried both the lancero and the robusto and did not care for either. I love most DPG and tatuajes, however, after giving the line a few tries....I think I'm done trying to be impressed by this smoke.

I love the lancero. I have yet to try others because I don't want to ruin a great relationship

I have a DPG Lancero that is sitting in my humi gathering age. I know they are very popular with most BOTL's. I can't wait to break it out

I was at this B&M on Santana Row in San Jose when I saw one going for between $16 and $20! I wanted to try it, I just could not bring myself to shelling out that much for an unknown stick.

I nabbed a fiver of the #2's Belicoso on a group buy. Starts off with some mild to medium spiciness and then smooths out into a creaminess with some light spice undertones. I'm considering ordering a box of the #2's. This is a very good cigar, IMO.

I bought a box of the robusto's and have been pleased with them from the start. Gifted a few along the way, and have yet to have anyone not be happy with the cigar. Without a doubt the My Fathers are in regular rotation .

I tried the robusto a few weeks back and was very impressed. I really love the Habano-Rosado leaf wrapper on this cigar. I recently picked up some of the lanceros that I am going to let sit for a while and I can't wait to give those a try!

I got a box of the robustos and a box of crema's in the cooler. I was a little disappointed with the crema's. Not as much flavor as the robustos. I'm eager to try a lancero. I've heard so many good things about them.

I am smoking a Lancero as I type this. What a great cigar, very creamy with a just a little bit of spice. I have 2 Robustos sitting in my Humi. I hope that are as good.

Try the lancero, too. I was very pleased. I like the line in general. Much how I like the Oliva V line. You seem not smoke a bad one!

The lancero is the only good size in this line up IMHO. I dont know why the other sizes cant have the same taste for me like the lancero does.

These sound like a great smoke I am going to have to try and find me a few once we get back on our feet. Great review rp

I tried the lancero and liked it so much that i bought a box. I gifted a few friends and I have not heard anything but good reviews. I have a dozen left and I will let a few age, but so far so good.
