I was expecting a poorer smoke. It was a good cigar. Great ash that just kept getting longer!

I was just the opposite... I see the DDR as a little brother to the Onyx Reserve (a personal fav) and expectations were high. I was not blasted by the DDR but I was happy with the Medium body and large flavor profile.

A similiar cigar...medium body w/ good flavor that you should try is the Cupido Criollo
