I just finished smoking one. In my limited experience, I found this to be a wonderful cigar. I smoked it down the nub, and still wanted more.

It was smooth but a little spicy, and burned flawlessly. The taste was very consistent, and although that may disappoint many aficionados, I found it to be a pleasing characteristic.

I would have to say that it just became one of my favorites.

Just my 2 cents.
 
Weird bump there but ok. I don't like the line in general. The only ones I have really enjoyed are the senior blend and the DCA which really aren't the same as the standard DC line anyways =\
 
Don't have a review for you but I tend to smoke em' here and there. They are definetly worth picking up in my opinion!! Good Luck.
 
I like the Don Carlos Line, with my favorites being the Belicoso, the 2, and the Robusto. These are medium in body, and flavor, and marvelously balanced. I love cigars with a lot of flavor and power, but these are just plain relaxing and dependable. I smoke them on a fresh palate, and have never had a bad one.
 
I smoked a DC #3 from 1996 last night with some VERY crusty yellow cello and covered in plume and it was just fantastic. One of the best cigars I have ever smoked. I am not good at describing flavors but it was super smooth and a little bit spicy and burned liked a dream. Too bad I only had one of them. :(
 
I've always loved the Don Carlos #2---smooth, a little leather, a little spice, nice sophisticated balance of flavor and body. I call it a "grown up cigar," lol.

But at $12 a stick and seldom stocked locally, they're a rare treat for me. The first Punch Rare Corojo Crystale Tubo tasted so much like a DC #2 to me at half the price I ended up buying two boxes!

The DC #4 is a regular in my rotation!
I wish the Lanceros were as well!

If you like Cameroon wraps definately check em out!

I'm quite fond of the Don Carlos Belicosos. They are some of the best Cameroons out there IMHO.
