I saw this the other day at the liquor store I frequent and figured a single 12 oz. bottle for over $7 was something I had to try. I haven't yet but I wanted to find out if anybody had tried this and what should I expect. Is the alcohol content on this really 18%? :0

First off, check the neck of the bottle for the date it was bottled. These beers are great fresh but really outstanding with 2-4 years of age. It is really 18% ABV and you will taste some of it at first, but the flavors are so big the alcohol is masked fairly well. Great beer, let us know your thoughts once you try it.

I'm a fan of almost all of DFH's beers! The WWS is amazing. I make sure to keep at least 6 of them on hand at all times. The 18% abv will kick your ass though.

I agree about the alcohol. I enjoyed one over Xmas and split it with my younger brother. He had a few sips and then his ears turned red . A nice stout to try IMHO

This one sounds delish! I wish it was offered in Cali ... so far I can get the 90 min(which I love), Palos Santos, and Midas Touch. None of the others are offered in my state. =(

Having had several experiences with this fresh, I second Jonas and recommend sitting on it for at least 2 years or more. You can actually feel your teeth melting if you drink it right off the line...it literally turns the enamel on your molars into powder...kind of like 36 proof Jolt cola. :sign:

But seriously, it's a REALLY, REALLY big beer when fresh. It is not one to be toyed with...tread lightly.

I can get most of the DFH line up but haven't seen that one yet.
