I would like to get a digital hygrometer, and I wanted to see if anybody has found one that works really well. thanks.

I have a caliber III for my humidor and coolider, and they are dead on and have never given me a problem. Can't calibrate, but I did salt test and know where they stand. Battery lasted like 1.5-2 years!!

I like the HygroSets, but also have an accurate
'perfecto' hygrometer from Little Havana Cigars.

My 2 Don Salvatore hygros, which are very compact
in size, aren't very accurate. When I salt test them,
after changing batteries, I note how far off they are
and compensate.

A friend of mine has a Csonka, which he likes. It has
an alarm that buzzes, when the rh gets out of range.

Chemyst

Buy something at a science store. Ones made for cigars are cheap.

The Savoy's are very accurate within 1% i believe. Also my friend has had his for 3 yrs now and hasn't had to change the battery yet.

I love my Xicar, consistently on. Also, I actually set up my coolidor with one of those outdoor weather stations that tracks humidity and temperature and also records the min and max. It is nice with the exception that it does not have a calibration function.
