Different cigars in same humidor space

I have a small humi with 3 spaces to put cigars. Is it OK if I put different cigars in the same space?
If so, how do I know which cigars can go together and which ones don't?
Or would it be better if I put a sheet of paper between the different cigars so they don't make any physical contact?
What about cigars that are wrapped?

Thanks for helping this newbie

some people will go on about 'marrying' and the cigars mixing with whatever is next to them...

I consider this mostly bs.. but if you have a really oily maduro, it's probably not best to sit it next to a shade grown connecticut...

right now 90% of my cigars are still in cello, i haven't taken to unwrapping them all, mostly cuz... I'd have all these little wrappers to deal with.

I'm sure some longer standing BOTLs will have more insight on this.

I would just make sure you don't have any flavored cigars in there and I would try to keep like to like, by that I mean when organizing the cigars try to organize them so they are near other cigars that either have similar flavor profiles or wrappers. (keep maduros near maduros and naturals near natural.)

Whats the value of the cigars? Unless you're storing some kind of high dollar rare cigar for a long period of time I wouldn't waste a moments time on this. Seeing how you're talking about a very very small humidor I wouldn't think you're storing high dollar cigars for long periods of time. (long periods of time means years)

Stick them in the humidor and enjoy smoking them. Storing cigars is not rocket science. Just keep in mind, as others have said, no flavored cigars inside of a humidor with regular cigars.

I think this is probably your best answer. I was thinking of the humidor I put my special smokes (hard to find/valuable/ISOM) in. The trays I have in my coolador are mostly mid value sticks and are pretty much just put in there.

Best thing I have heard in a while.

I am so glad that I have worked through my OCD and only check my cooler 2 times a day (for temp, in Iraq). As for storage, I have a 20ct, 3 boxes, and several baggies in the cooler. Brand with brand, so I can find them. the only exception is the baggie of smokes that I have set aside to send home and put in my new desktop.

Cigar smoking is so much more fun when it is not a chore.
