DE New Exclusive

Damn. $30 for a DE product? I may be in the minority here, but Fuente or Padrón, I can say I've had sticks that warranted the price tag/rarity. I can't say the same for a DE product.
You took the words right out of my mouth C.... Sheesh!

ETA: Is that MSRP or is your B&M high on prices in general?

That is the B/M price, it they are a fair shop, no gouge. What's interesting is DE won't even promise you the typical #9 unless you buy 40 facings of their brands, so maybe this is a way to appease the shop and screw the brother.

The Liga Privada #9 is the best smoke DE has ever released, IMO. But it's still an $8 cigar. I seriously doubt the second band on this warrants an extra $25.

Easy DE....starting to sound like Graycliff.

I will add that I'm not a fan of most DE's stuff. The only one in recent years that I've liked was Herrera Estelí. I'm going to chalk that up to being blended by Willy Herrera.

From the reviews I'm seeing they call it a 16.00 stick. Looks like a large markup from the BM on these.

Make no mistake, #9's are a great smoke, and I've bought several boxes over the years. But, Wyatt nailed it; they are an $8-10.00 smoke, period. Padron Family Reserve's are overpriced but they are 'only' $25.00 a stick....so, for $33.00, this one can sit right there.

I agree with you a 100%, I don't get the rationale on the over pricing of cigars! I'd never pay more than $12-18 for a DE cigar end of story.
