I visited a couple of shops today and picked up a bunch of smokes I've never had and have been wanting to try..

Padrón 1964 Anniversary Exclusivo Maduro (Can't wait!!!)
Acid Kuba Kuba (never had an Acid, wanna see for myself.. it smells so strange)
Cuesta Rey Centenario Pyramid #9 Maduro
Cuesta Rey Centenario Belicoso #11 Natural

I think I'll have to torch up the Padron this weekend. I've been wanting to try one for quite some time.

Oh man... I think you might fall in love with that Padrón... be careful... :)

I plan to fall in love! :D

The 3000 is one of if not my absolute favorite smoke. They guy at the shop assured me if I like the 3000 I'll love the anniversary. He went on to say in his opinion its the best smoke made today. Ok, sure, he wanted to sell it, but he had lots of other stuff he could have tried to convince me to buy instead. I don't think he was into the hard sell either, when I picked up an Acid he flat out told me he though it was a horrible cigar.

I would tend to agree with your smoke shop guy. If you like the Padron 3000, you are gonna fall hardcore for the 1964 Anniversary's. I would also say it's one of the best smokes made today, but that's just an opinion... enjoy it, see what you think.

The 1964 is a wonderful cigar -- This coming from me not a big fan of any othe Padron I've tried.

The Cuesta Rey are both fine smokes nice cohesive full body smoke with a light flavor that cummulates nicely as smoked.

Only had two different Acids, Both had excellent construction and burn and a larege voluminous smoke with an easy draw. Trouble is they gave me the impression I was smoking a sheet of Bounce/Snuggle fabric softener.

I didn't smoke the Padron yet.. It's kind of like, I don't want to smoke it because then I won't have it. :) I'll smoke it soon..

I did smoke the Kuba Kuba last night.. I managed not to barf.. barely. I'll be posting a seperate thread shortly.

If you smoke it you can buy another to replace it and then another and another and another. :D

If only it were that simple.

Actually, I think I found a pretty reliable supply of the Padrons..
