Fantastic presentation. Medium/light dark wrapper that's relatively smooth.

A slight angle clip allows the draw to be perfect.

Ash is light gray/white with a burn that's consistent.

Nose was tobacco and mild spice with a subtle hint of fruit.

Before a round I usually hit up a small Sancho, but I had a little time this morning and figured I'd try this one out.

This is a great size and when rolled well, it's awsome!

The Special B is not a mild cigar as would a thouand series or the Gran Cru

It's more medium to even full by the time you are done or if you are smoking one at 6am!.

Do you have Mr. Kelner's home phone number on your speed dial?

Great review, Gary. The few Davidoffs I've had have teased me with an amazing profile, just giving me hints of great flavors. It sounds like this one actually let you sample the goods. Kind of like the 3rd date rule?

I loved the Special R. Thanks for the great review, Gary. What was the price you paid for this cigar?

I haven't tried the Special T. Have you?

Steve

P.S. I just read there is talk of discontinuing the Special B. Anyone know for sure?

Sounds like a great smoke and med/full is right up my alley! Great review Gary!
