I read in the recent issue of Cigar Aficionado that the Davidoff Millenium Robusto is made with a slightly different blend than other Davidoff Milleniums so I purchased 1 and sparked it yesterday.
This is a fantastic smoke. Beautiful appearance, silky wrapper, a few veins running down the side but they had no effect on the razor burn. I punched the end and this baby had a perfect draw, slightly firm, but yeilding tons of smoke. Taste was fantastic, strong but beautifully balanced. A little pepper and spice with a complex background of ceder, leather. A terrific smoke.
But my question: Is this really different from other millenium. I've tried a few sizes (though not yet the new pyramid) and the only one I do not care for is the petit corona. Any thoughts about the blend here.
