I've been looking for something good for a pregame short cigar, and I have a few questions about the Davidoffs. First, how are they (general opinions) also are these dry cured or would they go in the humi? What are the differences between the "cigarillos" and "small cigars"?

The ones that interested me:
Exquisitos
Demi-Tasse
Mini Cigarillos

I picked up a Davidoff Annersario #1 in the wooden tube at the Davidoff Smoke Shop in London a few years ago. I then smoked it while sitting in a Pub in Cardiff, Wales. My impression of the cigar was that its very light and mild. And way over priced. :( But it was a good stick tho. It burned fantastic and little maintenance to keep it going. I know, not the sticks you are referring too. But after all, they are Davidoff.

I've always have thought of it this way...

IMO a "small cigar" is normally hand rolled but slighty smaller than a corona, a "Cigarillo" is machine made and alot smaller than a corona, almost cigarette in size.

Small cigars take at least 15 to 20 mins to smoke (if you dont hot box)

Cigarillos last slightly longer than a cigarette.

Others however consider them to be one and the same.

As far as cigarillos go, I smoke alot of them. I've never tried the Davidoffs but I have a few brands I can say taste good to me.

Macanudo Cafe Miniature

Most of the Danish Petit Nobel Line including the Orient flavored

and for those who won the Lottery

Cohiba Exquisitos

As far as keeping them in the humidor... I do keep my Macanudo cigarillos in the humidor. The Petit Nobel I dont.

i like the davidoff cigarillos. very tasty for a mini. torano exodus 1959 minis are my favorite cigarillos. a little cheaper than davidoffs, too.

I like the tin smokes. I keep a small stash in a Gurkha MS box w/ a water pillow...they are cigars after all...right?

The ones I usually allways have on hand are:
Ashton
AVO Domaine
Macanudo Vintage Demitasse
Zino Scepter
Partagas Puritos

I don't always have time for a cigar, but I can always find time for the cigarillos or small cigars.

I havent had a Davidoff...
I like Monte Puritos, Cohiba Panatela, Cohiba Club

For a real small cigar, I get the Bolivar Petits from JR. I used to smoke the Punch Maduro Rothchilds for my quick, everyday smokes.

I'm not a fan, too light and mild and not much flavour... I would rather smoke a Short Story when pressed for time. Girth over 38 and long filler are two "musts" for me.

I even tried the Cohiba Clubs and they burned hot and did absolutely nothing for me.
