Here it is in all its Plume covered glory...
And here I am about to enjoy this great cigar...
And here is Double D NOT enjoying his first Pepin Blue label (I told him it was too strong to use a punch on but the fugger never listens to me... :sign: )
Well as advertised the cigar had an excellent draw, almost a perfect burn and tons of creamy smoke. Tasty from the get go, it turned into a serious powerhouse at the halfway point, but never became bitter all the way up to the nub.
Now I have to say I found it to be a strong cigar with a hefty nicotine kick. This isn't a cigar for people who only like mild cigars thats for certain.

Up until 1954, all Cuban cigars were made exclusively by hand, without any kind of mechanical assistance. And then press moulds were introduced. The great advantage of the press mould was the huge increase in production, with each cigar maker now able to double his daily output. The big disadvantage was, and still is, that if too much tobacco is used, the air duct is narrowed and the drawing resistance becomes too great. And all cigar lovers know that a cigar which lacks air will tire and leave a bitter taste. Which is why we decided to revive the original art of cigar-making by reverting to the HAND-BUNCHED-PRESSED-ROLLED (HBPR) method.
