OK...this is my 2nd 40th Anniv Padron. I gotta tell you all, if you can't spend the $ to try a Padron 40th Anniv., please try to find out how to do it! :0 I swear by all that is mighty, it is the finest non-Cuban cigar I have ever smoked. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM-Good!

Have you had any of the other 1926 series? The 40th are supposed to be the same blend just a different shape. The top non-Cuban....for me it was the PMM so graciously given by Moki.

Was this the natural or the maduro? I smoked the natural about a month ago and was not overly impressed. Maybe it was just all the hype prior to smoking it. But, I didn't get the same flavors out of it that I have gotten out of other 1926's. In fact, I found this to be more like a 1964, than a 1926.

Don't get me wrong, it was very good; but for $25 i thought it would blow me away; it didn't.

Well... they are a part of the Padrón 1926 line... the blend is the same, only the vitola is different, as AVB noted.

I think the entire 1926 line is excellent; these are no exception.

It was the natural. And I liked it!! I've had every cigar in the Padron line...I like the 1964 Maduro a lot, too. Second favorite to Opus. Maybe it was the single malt...but last light it was F-ing fantastic.

I understand that they are a line extension of the 1926, I am just saying that i do not enjoy them as much as other vitolas in that line....

Ah, gotcha, sorry, I misread what you said. That's interesting that you haven't liked them compared to the rest of the 1926 line. I've found them to be excellent smokes, very much in profile to the 1926 line... no better, no worse (which is to say, f*ing outstanding ;) )
