I think I mentioned a curved humidor I'm building for Scott T, a member here. This cabinet will stand about 42 inches tall, a little over 4 feet wide and around 32 inches deep. There will be drawers up the middle and doors over them as well as on either side. Everything is bent using a vacuum system. I thought you guys might enjoy some progress pictures. I'd like to thank Scott for the opportunity to build this. Thanks for the great cigar last night as well.

Interesting looking beginning, very unique design. What is the approximated capacity of the finished cabinet? Looking forward to seeing the progress on it!

Just guessing but I'd say 1000+ singles and around 200+ boxes. It's big. Int the pics it doesn't look like it but it's got a footprint. :D

No kidding.... the footprint is almost 11 ft[sup]2[/sup]. And that's quite the capacity too! Wow!

I think I'll be good with one the one I'm thinking of building which is about 1/4 that size.

That thing would be great for aging cigars. You could completely forget that you have them! haha

Very cool Bill, it will be great to see this project as it moves along....... :)

Thank you guys very much. As you can probably tell, I'm not much for taking the easy road. I love a good challenge. ;) Here is the veneer for the panels.

Here is the first curved panel before the Waterfall Bubinga is applied along with the jig used to form it. The Bubinga you see here is 3 book matches to be applied to the surface. I look forward to seeing it with some finish on it.
