I'm probably a day late and a dollar short on this, but I'm giving it a shot.

It occurred to me that a Culebra would be the perfect father/father-in-law/groom smoke for the wedding.

My wedding is Saturday, do I'm hoping I can find one locally, as I'm not sure online buying will get me anywhere in time.

So what brands are more common and affordable?

Damn those Partagas culebras are awesome!! I've been looking for some to order. Definitely the talk of the herf.

La Flor makes a couple different ones. Al did a special edition for them. Doubt there are any left, but you could give him a call. Even if he doesn't have any of the special edition ones, he may have the regular ones in. If not him, personally, I'd try any of the vendors here. If you get them on the phone today, and they have somethingin stock, they could probably get it in the mail for you tomorrow. That would leave plenty of time for it to get to you.

ETA: As far as brands, La Flor makes them. Davidoff Special C. Illusione 2/3. You can take a look here

Johnny Ortega makes a variety of Culebra's. I've had a couple and they were excellent

I'm thinking, budget allowing (we're down to the wire on that) I'm gonna go with the one he suggested. I believe it was a La Flor. He is sure it will get here on time.

Two things:
1) Thanks for linking to Robbie's culebra guide, Kirk
B) As a father with a daughter, I've never understood liking a son-in-law. How there aren't more murders, especially on the wedding day, is beyond me. When/If the day comes and some punk offers me a cigar I can't imagine not giving him a Columbian Necktie.

I have 2 things going for me. First, while my fiancée is amazing (former NASCAR model, veterinarian, great with people, likes video games and cigars); her family makes me look like a freaking rock star. I have my own business, talented at what I do, have all my teeth, have no criminal record, and am not deep in debt. Only her mother can say the same. On top of that, her last 2 serious relationships were with abusive mooching douches.

So, they're pretty thrilled to have me as an in-law. Besides, we're both in our 30's.

Yo-

Send me a PM.

I have Johnny-O Culebra with at least a few years of age on it.

Yours if you want it and you think it will get there on time.

Al

That's because neither you nor your daughter have met either of my boys.

Blah blah blah blah blah. First, while my fiancée is amazing (former NASCAR model, blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah ); blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

CigarPass Rule #317.2 clearly states "When a CigarPass member mentions that their wife, girlfriend, fiancee, ex-wife, ex-girlfriend, ex-fiancee, sister, co-worker, au pair, maid, neighbor , USPS driver or any other female associate is a model, pictures must be posted for verification." ;)

Please note the rule says pictureS.. with an S... I mean, you don't make a decision after smoking just one cigar, do you?

Thank you JHolmes, I am glad to see that some members of this cigar community still respect the rules and traditions of CigarPass.
I decided not report Yojimbo's violation ( a bannable offense , if I recall correctly ) until he has a chance to correct this oversight.

Yes, Kirk. Thanks for linking to Robbie's culebra guide, which that handsome devil Tom linked to earlier in the thread.

Edit: Oh damn, forgot to sign in to my Elittle account before posting that.
