I know this cigar has been featured in several topics already...
just wanted to give my own take on this fine smoke.

Ring Gauge: 50
Length: 4.5"
Shape: Robusto #7
Binder/filler: Dominican blend
Wrapper Color: Maduro Sun Grown

The wrapper has a really nice color...on the medium dark side.
The construction of the cigar is really good. It is firm, but not rock-hard.
Used a punch cutter to open it up.
The draw is great (large ring size).
The cigar burned fairly evenly.

The taste...ah, the taste. This cigar was one of the best cigars I've had.
Being a newbie...not quite sure what "good" really is, but so far this has been one of the smoothest and great tasting cigars I've smoked. It had a nice roasty and slightly sweet flavor...with some hints of spice...some leather also.
Coffee and cocoa flavors was also present.

The flavors intensified toward the last 1/4 of the cigar, but not overpowering.
The overall smoothness and pleasant roastiness lasted throughout the cigar.
Paid about $7 for it (California prices).
This will be my next everyday smoke.
I will buy a box of these soon.
Interesting that these come in boxes of 10 sticks.

This cigar kinda resembles the Chateau Fuente Sun Grown.

I JUST bought my first one of these and am looking forward to trying it.

The Centrofino is another fine cigar made by Arturo Fuente. Nice medium strength, good nose and some complex flavors. If you are into sun grown cigars, this one is a must try.

Very nice review man! I love these cigars. The Sun Grown #9 pyramid is the one that started it all for me. I smoked that and the obsession was ON. It was the best cigar I had had up until that point and remains one of my favorites still.

Nice review and I agree, these cigars are tasty. I just got a sampler pack from my JC Newman membership.

Based on this tread I tried one today. The cigar was ok but nothing special.
For the price there are much better tasting cigars IMHO. I rather have a PSD4 or regular line Padron.

Very well said. The Centro-Fino line is my favorite N/C.

I tried one of these only it wasnt the maduro. I thought it was ok, but I have had better. One of my friends swears by these things though. I guess they are pretty good, but 7 bucks is a little high for them. They would be a good 5 dollar smoke.

All of the Centrofinos are less than 5 bucks a stick with most being 3-4 dollars. I think you need a new source for your cigars.

I agree that CA taxes hasput this cigarinto a different price bracket, one that you expect morefrom your cigar. If you get the Maduro or Natural wraper, they are the Centenario. The SG wrapper is the Centro Fino line. The Naturals aren't worth it unless you are handing them out to someone who doesn't smoke cigars. The Maduro's are a decent cigar with sweet undertones. The SG are definately the winners. The wrapper gives the blend a nice spicey edge without over powering the cigar.

I brought one of these to smoke at lunch today. I paid $5.50 for the SG. I can't wait to try it now.

These are frequent short term guests to my humi.Dont know why they dont stay longer one of my favorites. $45 a box of ten here
